Shane, that's the idea.........i'm not sure if we had already set in stone to cut that sequence, but I sure was going to bring it up. Your right, there is no reason to have that scene in, unless you feel like showing that cute side to the ewoks and the bland acting from Carrie Fisher. It should be cut, just like many of the jar jar scenes are cut. We've also already talked about how to change the ewoks for the movie earlier in the thread. We plan to change their dialect (sound) from some sort of samuri kind of sound and give them different battle cries as oppose to "WOOT WOOT WOOT". They will have a different theme music which will shy away from the "playful at times" track of the original.......not to mention we were thinking of adding in extra combat shots with the ewoks from the ewok movie dvd's (there are several cuts that can blend seamlessly with a little color correction). So the ewoks are definately in need of fixing and we should start by taking out that entire scene with leia/wickett.
