.avi to DVD + .srt

I have an .avi file of Turkish Star Wars, as well as an .srt file (translation subtitles?). If I wanted to make a DVD out of this, with the .srt file applied properly, how would I go about doing this? I don't need menus or anything fancy for the authoring - just an autoplaying DVD that I can watch in my player. Thanks!

Is it a DivX/XviD file? If so, you either need a newer DVD player that will play such files, or need to convert it to MPEG2.

Some DVD mastering programs will accept subtitle files. I don't know if DVDLab Pro will specifically accept .srt files.

DVD-Lab does accept .srt files so no problem on that end.

Use an encoder (I recommend CCE) to make it an MPEG2 file drop it into an authoring program that supports .srt files and author and burn.
