Threepio is fluent in over six million forms of communication while the lost in space robot's repertoir seems to be limted to 'danger Will Robinson', so on thsoe grounds, threepio. But are we talking about the TV Lost in Space robot or the movie, because the movie one would destroy threepio. In fact, the TV one had pincers, so he could at least hold stuff, which is another advantage over threepio.
