Also, if you liked those pictures I could dig up a ton more for you if you want to use the promo images.
Thanks for the offer, Twister; I'm not exactly sure what direction I want to go with the trailer. Maybe I'll make a couple. At first, I was thinking of one that ran all of the awful dialogue from the original, and then the Star Wars logo comes on the screen, and the announcer lists all of the features of the movie.
"New footage"- You see the clone war shots from Dune
"Improved cinemotography" - You see the balcony scene and the droid factory
"New voice actors, characters, and plot"
"Hyperspace" track starts. Many shots containing new dubs shown.
"And..a few other surprises".
Mace fires up his blue saber.
The other type of trailer I was thinking of was the classic "Starring: Ewan Mcgregor" style trailer, and just let the changes come through over the course of the trailer, rather then advertising them like you would be above. I don't know; I just think there are a lot of people who might be interested in the project, but they don't want to keep up with this sprawling thread. Creating a trailer and giving it its own thread might generate some more interest in the endeavor. People will actually be able to see that the ADR was successful and have a little more faith in the project. Because it was a radical idea, it really is. The thing is, most of what I've been doing can't even be summed up in a trailer; it's all about the feel of the movie, the soundtrack, the cuts that were made. The ADR and new effects are just an added bonus that contribute to the "classic" feel I'm working toward.
I want to finish the trailer immediately after I receive ADR for Lama-Su, which should come in late June.
