Let's hope it isn't like the Alien Director's Cut. Ridley Scott says in the DVD extras that the new version is the Director's Cut in that he did the cut, but he personally doesn't like it as much and that the original version is really what he considers the definitive one.

yeah, I don't see why we need 2 "director's" cuts on the same edition, unless it's that different. Also Ridley said when they started working on this whole thing that there would be possibly 3 discs, one of the versions would be a work print. Something to keep in mind?
