I find this hard to believe, because there is more detail visible in Moth3r's DVD set (which is made from the PAL LDs) than any of the NTSC sets. If you are right, though, then that would mean there is higher detail visible in the NTSC tape master that didn't make it to LD. If so, that's another reason the new DVDs will be good.
