I wouldn't really call it a crash release. This year's possible 2-disc re-release of the '92 DC probably won't include much new in terms of bonus material and they've still probably got over a year to work on the Final Cut and supplements. Not to mention some of the work that was already done before they had to close shop.

True enough. I suppose we should assume that the 92 director's cut is from the same source as the HDTV version? Either way I'm sure the print will look amazing.
