Not really speculation at this point: Check out TheDigitalBits.com today.

DVD/BluRay/HDDVD "Director's Cut" ('92) (limited time release)
followed by a new Ridley Scott Anniversary Cut in theaters
then a massive box set for DVD/BluRay/HDDVD with (likely) all 4 editions of the film (put together by the guys that did the Alien Quadrilogy set)

And all anamorphic.
How can you not love it?
