Why did everyone love Star Wars when Lucas repeatedly claimed they would NOT be available on DVD, and now AFTER an announcement that it WILL see the light of day again, everyone's through with SW. It's kinda weird. This is a big step in the right direction.

This is exactly what is baffling me.

Before the announcement, there was a lot of hope we could change his mind. After the announcement, we were elated because we thought we were finally getting what we wanted. With the confirmation that the OOT will be of less than acceptable quality, our spirits have fallen again.

End result: we're more pissed off now than we were before. I don't find it baffling at all.
