Another big OOT problem: ->PAL<- release!

Hi there,

after thinking about it, it came clear to my mind: since the OOT is regarded as BONUS material, chances are very high that we PAL usere are going to get an upscaled PAL->NTSC conversion from this release. This would not only be sub-standard, this would be plain UNACCEPTABLE.

I hope enough people will join the E-Mail writing campaign to prevent this terrible mess. Especially regarding a new statement from Robert A Harris:

What's to say they wouldn't use the D2 masters that they made for the PAL release of the 1993 LDs?

I hate PAL anyway, with it's 4% speedup and higher pitched sound. I always import R1 NTSC because of this.

ya but it has a better resolution. Plus you can always edit it to slow it down if you want to.

Yeah, but the resolution is a trade off. NTSC always looks better on my projector than PAL anyway for some reason.
