I don't think this picks up where Smallville left off HLF, it picks up where the second Christopher Reeves movie left off. since this superman movie is suppose to pick up where smallville left off, does that mean that smallville is over. because they never said it was the series finale, just the season. i can't wait for this movie to come out though, i think it will be good. even if it is a little bit sappy.
