So the RPG rulebook gets original Drew Struzan art, and the OT on DVD gets MS paint crap?

Well, the RPG was published by Wizards of the Coast... who, thanks to the millions of 12 year olds playing "Magic: The Obsessing", has more money than God. So hiring Struzan for that cover was easy enough for them.

As we all know, however, Lucasfilm has been on the verge of bankruptcy for decades.

And if anybody tells you different, they're lying. I swear.

And Wizards of the Coast isn't? I mean they waste money on cover art, for goodness sakes. And publish RPGs. I think as soon as you go to register your RPG publishing company, they hand you bankrupcy papers automatically

Yes. Yes I did. That is why I think it is cool.

I have always loved that picture of Luke that the artist used for that collage. I called it the "Bambi Eyes" photo, and I love it.

Dude, did you have to post that whole thing? At least give us the option of a 500k thumbnail or something.

It was a joke...

...the idea that Lucasfilm would be unable to make a decent cover because they're on the verge of bankruptcy and can't afford a capable artist... joke.

And from what I understand, WoTC is actually doing kinda alright (as far as a pen & papaer RPG company can do alright in the unstable market that exists for such things these days). Palladium on the other hand... they're gonna be gone by the end of the year.
