Personally I would PREFER if LFL decided to say "you know what, we realize that next year IS the 30th anniversary of SW so we decided just to wait another year and DO IT RIGHT instead of rushing out an inferior product."

There is NO ONE here, I'd wager, who wouldn't be willing to wait until May 2005 for a decently mastered OOT on DVD even if there were no extras, etc.

And on the ice cream analogy I'll take what theredbaron said one step further. Imagine the kid or adult finally got to the ice cream shop, paid their money, and the owner of the shop THREW THE GODDAMN ICE CREAM CONE ACROSS THE COUNTER AND SAID "HERE'S YOUR F**KIN' ICE CREAM YOU BABY- ARE YOU HAPPY? HUNH ARE YOU? NOW GET THE BLOODY HELL OUT OF MY SHOP AND THANKS FOR GIVING ME YOUR MONEY!"

Then again in Shim logic I imagine the owner would have been doing the patron a FAVOR by helping them make the decision whether to buy ice cream there or not in the future.
