I have a good idea of what I'll do for the back but could anyone get me a good scan of the PS2 game's back cover? I'd like to pull a couple of things off of it while I work.

Jabberdoo, further to the tutorial you posted, I've just popped my PS2 copy of Bounty HUnter into my computer, looking for the FMV sequences. I found a VIDEO folder but the files inside have a .sfd extension. Have you found anything related to these?

I just went to myspleen and I'm confused, is this episode III with scenes like Anakin vs Mace added in from the video game, to make a longer movie with added scenes, or just clips from the game that weren't in the movie made to look like they're from the movie put together to make a 44 minute movie?

Hi daveytod!

Kaal-Jhyy (who did the "Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II - The Cutscenes" DVD) and I have been slowly working on a Bounty Hunter DVD. I was able to rip and convert the cut scenes from the PS2 version of the game into beautiful quality 16X9 anamorphic widescreen DVD compliant MPEG's. HERE'S the link to Kaal-Jhyy's thread where I posted some screen captures, and talked a little about how I ripped the video. The screen shots didn't turn out 16X9 for some reason, but the video definitely is.

We have assembled a TON of bonus material for this, and hopefully we'll have a nice Bounty Hunter preservation DVD put together before long.

I love your Episode III The Video Game DVD!! I think there need to be a LOT more DVD's preserving some of the awesome footage available in video games.

Yes, Galactus has send me all the Bounty Hunter cutscenes and I have to say that the quality is awesome! For some reasons, I haven't been able to work on the DVD, but I really want to make it, and will do. With all the bonus material we've assembled, Galactus and me, the results could be a very exciting DVD.
More news soon (I hope!).

And yes, I've watched the Episode III DVD, and it's great! Good job!
It would be so cool to have a nice collection of SW games DVDs, it's up to us to realize that!

I couldnt imagine that these things take up an entire DVD....a neat idea would be to have both the PAL and NTSC cutscenes on the same disc...that way everybody is happy.

Not a bad idea, but also not possible. A DVD can contain one kind of video stream, NTSC or PAL. Can't do both.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

Hmmm....I didnt know that. I figured you could just have a way of selecting which one you want. Theres got to be a way to appease everyone.

To be fair, since I'm in the UK, making an NTSC disc would be kind of hard anyway...and ultimately pointless

What are you telling us? People in the USA don't have PAL/NTSC players or video cables?...
I have one, here in France, and the price was less than 50€... and I've bought it 3 years ago...

A large majority of people in the USA don't have PAL capable DVD players, no.

If they want to watch it in anything other than their computer's DVD drive, they are S.O.L.

But anyways, its neither here nor there and its certainly a silly thing to be arguing over, so can we simply agree to disagree?

Well, because of personal troubles, I've not been able to work on it... I still don't know when I'll have time for it, but I hope it will be soon.
All I can say for now: we have pretty much all the material we need: the cutscenes in great quality, and a lot of bonus material (a long long work of research for us, especially for Galactus ). The only thing that remains to be done: the DVD. And it's not the easiest part, cause I'd like it to be as good (and maybe better) than the previous DVD.
I'll give some news when I'll be ready to work on it.

I downloaded this DVD the other day and I have 2 problems with it:
- The bonus trailers for the videogame are all silent. (The movie itself is OK with sound)
- I don't have the alternate ending on the DVD. Where should it be?

I wonder if anyone else has the same problems?

I had neither of these problems. My bet is that your download became corrupted, or there was an error in your authoring process.

Hi dszabi, thanks for taking the time to download this.

With the trailers, I actually had the same problem myself on certain dvd players, but worked fine on others. As for the alternate ending, it is there, you just have to find it
