Got it!

I'll post more later. I have a crapload of two-disc amaray style cases too (they're not actually amaray but they're very durable and the spines are very flat and nice). Got them from GenesysDTP.com so it was a great deal. My only problem is would be printing out covers though...

Would you also like me to send you the specs for the RoboCop: "Ultimate Edition" 2-Disc set? Maybe you could put together this set or something...

Honestly, you haven't listed anything yet. I don't see a set to put together until you actually have material.

I sent you a PM about the custom RoboCop: "Ultimate Edition" 2-Disc set.

For the RoboCop: The Auxilliary multi-disc set, I figure we should put these together on a per disc basis. I'm contacting the webmaster of the RoboCop Archive for materials we could use.

Also, that AMC documentary sounds great for the first film concerning the project layout.

Well, I'll tell you, I downloaded it from the Robocop Archive, and I can't seem to convert this to and .avi or .mpg format. It keeps screwing up the picture. As it stands, the quality isn't bad (I'd say 5 or 6 out of 10), but it doesn't even play in VLC, for God's sake! I'll see what I can do.

I could ask the Archive webmaster for a high quality DVD type version perhaps. Any other documentaries or anything which would be suitable for Part I?

I downloaded the soundtrack for RoboCop when they still had it up and I have that as a soundtrack CD. There's also alot of text based items too.
Is the P.S.A. from Peter Weller from RoboCop 2 also on the laserdisc? We could add that to Part II.
I'm thinking there's going to be alot of text based material for RoboCop 3 now that I think about it.

I'll see what I can do.

Sorry if they've been mentioned already, but if you're including text-based extras, please consider the Cinefex articles featured in Issue 32, Issue 45 & Issue 56 (the articles are about Robocop 1, 2 & 3 respectively).

To contact me outside the forum, for trades and such my email address is my OT.com username @gmail.com

I could look online to get the actual issues and scan them at a high resolution then put them onto a CD-R...

I found a couple little items you could use. There is the footage of Robocop at a WCW pay-per-view event (Christ, that was terrible) that might be useful. I also found a Japanese commercial advertising a Thursday night showing of Robocop 3 (you can find it here). In addition, I also found a website that shows (apparent) photographs of one of the unfinished police car designs from the first film (you can find that here). I'm not sure how valid this is, as the guy mentions working with many of the cast and crew on these designs, and I'm not sure if they were already put on one of the DVD releases, but maybe you could use them as a photo gallery or something. When I can, I'll try to download some of the Robocop-related stuff from Youtube and try to convert it. I'm just very tired today, having finished an exam and all.

Thanks for all your effort! It's highly appreciated.
I guess the pay-per-view stuff can go on the "random" fifth disc. I'm starting to think it should be called something other than "System Failure" though... The Japanese commercial of course should go on Part III under advertising I figure. Maybe we should contact this Robert Webb guy for authorisation of his pictures and anything else which could be useful.

Oh, the webmaster for RoboCop Archive said he doesn't have a better quality of the AMC documentary. So far so good!

HOLY COW! That was FANTASTIC!!!

MeBeJedi: Sadly, I believe the prequels are beyond repair.
JediRandy: They’re certainly beyond any repair you’re capable of making.

MeBeJedi: You aren’t one of us.
Go-Mer-Tonic: I can’t say I find that very disappointing.

JediRandy: I won’t suck as much as a fan edit.

That was really impressive. Very cool piece of work. I would have loved to see ED-209 let rip on Neo though. That has to go on this bonus disc set.
where have i been all this time ?

That was pretty fucking crazy. But obviously unrealistic...everyone knows Robocop can't lose.

Any updates on this?
I think it would be a good idea to use the original posters as dvd covers as apart from Robocop 3 they are rarely seen.
