That sounds familiar, actually. Maybe I read the same stuff. At any rate, it's just one of those things where it's hard to believe that they "didn't notice."

Of course, there are some pretty illiterate sign makers out there, too, spelling things out in huge letters and not even noticing, it seems (that's where proofreading comes in, fellas!). The latest one I saw was "no parkig" at the local Honda. They also advertised the new Honda Ridgeline on three big signs with it spelled Ridegline! Also used 'too' instead of 'to' on another sign. Yes, I notice these things a lot...
