).... I don't think many of the changes suggested in the original thread are necceasry and some of them are just plain bad ideas.Replacing Alec Guiness? No effing way. Dubbing all the Stormtroopers? No. They had non-clones by this time.
They should put Shaw back in the Ghost scene and the end and NEVER, EVER put Hayden in the Originals. The lightsaber fixing is a good idea, and pretty obvious. Some of the special effects shots may be better in CG, but most of them are perfectly fine without it. And the Yoda puppet being replaced is just as bad as replacing Guiness or Shaw.
The Ultimate Edtions, should they ever exist, ought to be more about fixing the flaws of the 2004 DVDs than replacing more stuff to fit the blasted prequals.
