I hate the fact that when I am actually being nice to people, rather than my somewhat sardonic jackass self, they tend to hate me.

It sucks, I'm a jackass to people and they can't get enough of me, but when I'm trying to be genuinely nice, its quite the opposite...then again, I may just be generalizing.
