Agreed Sean.

Its almost the same as the IGN mockup from a year or so ago, the only difference is the IGN mockup also had a pump-action for reloading.

I'm not sure if I'll get one right away or wait, but I will definitely be getting one. This is the first non-portable Nintendo to be backwards compatible, so I will still have my Gamecube games.

Yeah, watching that Mario game got me really excited, especially in knowing that more traditional game types can still be played on the new controller style.

there is currently a poll on the official site (japanese) asking people what characters, regardless of platform, they want. Here
Sonic vs. Mario. /drooooooollll

Peach vs. Master Chief

Pikachu vs. Spyro

Jak vs. Crash

I can think of sooooo many awesome characters.

I don't want anyone besides Sonic and Megaman not already confirmed; I had only hoped for Pit, Wario, and Samus without her suit in the next one. If you start bringing too many in, it gets ridiculous. Well.. MAYBE Viewtiful Joe.

Sony characters like Rachet and Jak can't be apart of it. Only Nintendo characters and those owned by third party publishers. Cause I doubt Sony will be wanting to sell more Wiis.

Yeah me too.

And about SSB characters, what's holding them back from making all of them? It's not like there's a shortage of room, and it would only make the game cooler. Are they entitled to include characters from other companies? Because Master Chief is Microsoft isn't he?

It's the need for games to be "cool" that is a lot of what is stifling the industry. If it doesn't involve boobs, sports, graphic violence, or a combination their of, many will ignore it.

For example... It is almost criminal that Eternal Darkness was outsold by "$0.50: Bulletproof"... but that is how the industry works. Slap a famous person's name on a crappy game and it will outsell something far superior.
