It's not the wikipedia usage that arouses my suspicion.

I know, it's the "dissagreableness", right? I was just joking about that you know. You have to admit it was funny, I didn't realize there was a plant called spelt until I checked.

The reasons I used Wikipedia:

1. I'm a lazy bastard.
2. Because of #1 I didn't want to look for a dictionary, so I went to www.dictionary.com
3. Dictionary.com wasn't working, so I assumed Wikipedia had a built-in dictionary...and they didn't.
