I dunno. Ewan McGregor is a very good actor. He singlehandedly saved the flat plot and horrible dialogue in the prequels. George could write entirely new scenes for A New Hope involving Obiwan by using McGregor. Oooh, imagine if he redid the combat between Obiwan and Darth Vader in that film.
