It IS great news-- particularly for this edit and the whole "Starkiller Ranch" idea. Go for the Sept. deadline and it will turn out so much better. I have always felt your aesthetic idea of going for the original trilogy look is the best possible idea for a fan edit. I can't wait for the screen flashes and Dune footage and other touches. (I mean, I'm thrilled with anticipation -- not to rush you).
To have the OT in perfect DVD format (Episode IV will just be called "Star Wars" now-- weird) is a perfect companion to the most anticipated fan edit of ALL TIME!!!
