In another life I was known as a comedian ... even did a self-deprecating reference to Empire Classic in my standup act once (Live at Laguna Beach video).

I may not be funny there either, but it comes out when I let it.

Those who can't take a joke probably are the joke.

ADDENDUM -- Among all the fake emotion displayed, I'm very very glad that the Star Wars laserdisc is dead. The quality of your Star Wars laserdisc, particularly the NTSC ones, is awful, and I'm very glad that we don't have to deal with them anymore, even for the relatively brief "non special edition" segments.

Some people believe that laserdiscs have a certain magical quality. I laugh at these people. Some people will continue to do laserdisc transfers. I laugh at these people.

I'm glad that we can have the trilogy on DVD in whatever quality ... and work from there.

Call it the LID project .... Laserdisc is Dead, so put a lid on it.
