Don't be cautious. Apparently the press-release was released early due to the word leaking out on a couple other sites like Digital Bits and such, and that paragraph actually, if you read it, doesn't fit with the rest of the marketing-speak going on in the release. It actually speaks negatively about other Lucasfilm product.

It was more than likely removed for aesthetic reasons than it was anything else, considering they left in the quote that these will be the editions you saw in theaters in 77, 80, and 83.
