I think it's weird...but I will now be able to separate the "Saga" from the "Trilogy," and enjoy them both on different levels. Sure, I've got various fan preservations, but it just wasn't the same as having official copies.
Maybe it has something to do with Lucas finally acknowledging the fan base that really wanted this to happen...he should be grateful his movies have fans that are willing to hang in there for the long haul.
