So, can anyone tell me when was the last time both the 1 and 2 seeds were knocked off in the first round?

Detroit and Dallas both looked flat in the playoffs. It just goes to show that when you have everything locked up well before the season ends, you still need to play at a high level because you can't just flip the switch and all of a sudden start playing your best hockey again. Even when it mattered most, the top two teams in the Western Conference got outplayed by the two lowest seeds, who have been playing for their playoff lives the last couple of months.

I'm pulling for Anaheim, but I still think we'll be seeing Avalanche/Sharks and Oilers/Flames this weekend. Both should be great series.

I'm really hoping for a battle of Alberta! I'll be doing my best to be at EVERY game of that series!

I'm still sick that my wings CHOKED last night. 4 goals in the 3rd? Are you kidding me?! Legace's as good as gone. I hate that this is most likely how Stevie Y is going out. Gotta go with my favorite ex-wing Darren McCarty and the Flames now. Let's see that battle of Alberta!

hahaha yeah

I hate the pens by the way, there luck is unbeleivible. the same team getting crosby AND lemuix, now thats just disgusting. especially when the city doesnt seem to care about there own team.

Hey dayv, whats the deal on this mike smith character.

And who wants to join a hockey pool, i am seting one up for the season half of the season it will start on jan 24th. the format of the league is salary cap based you have 30 mill and need to buy players. players like stocks will go up and down in value depending on whether ppl are buying or selling and you get 2 trades per week. play for points or to get the team with the highest value.
