Thanks, the quality is amazing, just incomparable with the truncated VHS encode that I found online some time ago. I'm just reediting it before burning, since I can't watch DVDs without even the simplest menus.

By the way, Mann's film may be the only case in cinematic history where a truly bad adaptation of a truly good novel turns out to be... a truly good film of its own.
