And, THX, even though I've said it before here, it's still a little bit embarrassing, but I didn't think that Sidious and Palpatine were the same person until long after Attack of the Clones. It's not as bad as it sounds. I mean, I knew Palpatine became the Emperor (duh!). I simply thought it was far too obvious to have this black-cloaked guy be him too. I thought that Lucas was either trying to fool the audience with this lookalike Sith or, storyline-wise, was supposed to be Palpatine's master, explaining why Palpatine would go for a similar look once he came to power. To this day, I feel that I gave him too much credit.
