Although we were getting criticized for it before, we do change the film title and the intro credits as well as the final credits in the movie, which takes a lot of time usually. The criticism was about presenting ourselves inmidst the spotlight and just showing off. Well, you may see it that way. My opinion is, that an audience is supposed to know what they are watching and who made it. Leaving in the original title and not mentioning the editors would be like presenting the wrong version. We did it and no one can ignore it. This is also meant to keep people from watching our editions when they really want to see the original and vice versa. A fanedit deserves to be a movie on its own and not a false replica of the original. Therefore we will always keep changing intro credits, titles and final credits of a movie for as long as we edit them.
When you watch a CBB edit, this is exactly what you get. With our first three edits these changes were rather embarrassing, because we didn't know then how to fade out text (it's really true) and so we had to let it move above or beyond the edges to get rid of it. Later on our presentation of credits and titles got much better and we are still improving and learning with every new project. BUT althought the first efforts were not the best we never thought of them as a problem, because even major productions use to have very weak intros and it isn't so hard to compete with them after all.
