Always a fun discussion. So, what's your guys' claim to fame?

Mine? Well, I'm the great, great, great grand-daughter to the last German Kaiser. Pretty bitchin'.

That's better than me. I only ate a Kaiser roll while visiting Germany. Not quite as exciting.
I am fluent in over six million forms of procrastination.

Posh Spice is my cousin.
Yes I've met all the Spice Girls in the beginning.
Yes I was at the wedding. Yes I've met David Becham quite a few times. Yes he is good looking but does sound like he's as thick as shit (he's not BTW).
No I didn't get any tickets to the world cup!

Yes, I believe that is correct. His grandpa or something had a daughter (I don't know her name) who renounced her line to the throne so that she could marry a commoner. I wish I had more details, but I've only learned what I know from my aunt. Maybe my mom knows more...
The details are a little muddy but the line is direct.

Not much here. Had a relative killed at the Andersonville prison during the American Civil War. Have a great aunt who's a professor at a university in Maine and has a couple of books published. That's about it.

My own story is still being written.

He was a key player in WW1, and also I believe a cousin of the King George V and Alexander, the last of the Russian Tsars, which means you are a descendant of both those lines too...

I can never remember if this is true or not, I've heard yes, then no, then yes and I cannot keep track...

I've been told that I might be related to Napoleon. His brother fled to Canada at some point and at least one branch of my family (I know my great-grandmother) is Canadian.

Other tiny things:
- My mother worked in the same school that Burgess Meredith attended (not at the same time).
- My mother has also worked with an immediate family member of Tim Hagan, a local politician...who just happens to be married to Kate Mulgrew.
- My great-uncle's wife is or was a team doctor for the Denver Broncos.
- Last night, I walked through the set of Spiderman 3...after hours. They are filming some stunt scenes for Spiderman 3 here in Cleveland. I went to the Cavs game last night and we walked down the street where they are filming after the game. Saw some of the MTA buses (one missing its front windshield), couple NYC yellow cabs and the rented storefronts with fake stuff in the windows.
Spoiler: There is an attack on an armored car OR something/someone escapes from an armored car.

My claim to fame is that I was not seriously injured after being partially hit by a van.
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an Obi-Wan to go.

Red heads ROCK. Blondes do not rock. Nuff said.

My aunt's best friend does Kate Mulgrew's taxes. Well, DID her taxes anyway. She has since changed companies. But I did just get her autograph through my aunt's friend because, lord knows, I'm about the biggest Star Trek Voyager fan out there.

Also, my brother was in Tim Berton's "Big Fish" movie. It rocked. I drove him to the set every day for like 2 weeks when they were filming in the town we were living in at the time. Woo!

I went to the same high school as Mark Hamill.

Well, not quite. He did his first year (or semester, I forget which) at Kubisaki High School, which is on Camp Lester, Okinawa, Japan. I went to Kadena High School which is on Kadena Air Force Base, Okinawa. Mark eventually moved to the mainland where he graduated high school in Yokosuka. But it's still pretty cool. He may have graduated HS in the late 60's and I in '02, but we both grew up as military children on the same Japanese island, and that is awesome.

Mark Hamill studied in Japan? He just got a little bit cooler now!
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering
