I have better than average memory and reading/retention skills. It's never been formally tested but someone close to me has a Bachelor's in Experimental Psych and is quite well versed in learning, etc who has told me as much as well as a former Behavioral Psych teacher who said my memory was "remarkable".

As one of my favorite fictional characters, Adrian Monk, says: It's a blessing...and a curse. I tend to remember a lot of minutia that I should probably let go of. For instance I can tell you a lot of useless facts about when a lot of tv shows were produced, which episodes were made when, etc. Of course it hasn't made me rich yet!
