That was last Tuesday. I've seen them set up at multiple Best Buy stores and at the local Tweeter.

At Best Buy, they're using a Westinghouse 1080p 42" LCD as the demo display. The 1080i video clips they were showing looked so-so because the Westinghouse has substandard video deinterlacing, but the film clips looked phenomenal. King Kong in 1080p was breathtaking. The color depth and detail made it look as good as any film presentation I've ever seen.

The only titles currently available are Last Samurai, Phantom of the Opera, Million Dollar Baby, and Serenity. I think Doom and Apollo 13 come out tomorrow.

Over the next two or three months you should see about 80 or so HD-DVD/BluRay titles on the shelves.
