Blink and you'll miss it proof that Lucas' beard vanished in 1986. Was the real George replaced by a double after Captain Eo wrapped?
A couple Raiders tv spots. Are these on the DVD? Harrison's line of "Whiskey?" sounds different.

I didn't blink! The parts with Mark Hamill were really cool!

Wait so.......WHAT THE FUCK. Apart from Lucas's non-beard......what the hell was that?! That was by far the weirdest video I've seen in a while! Michael Jackson? O.J.? Whoopie??? And not to mention the 30 long seconds the narrator took listing the stars who attended....

I'm freaking out. Plain and simple.

I remember seeing EO when it was fairly new. I think I saw it in Florida in the spring of '87.

I assume it's long gone now? I don't think anybody wants to see any of Michael Jackson's current exploits in any dimension.

I can't view the video yet (I'm at work) but if this is the EQ Michael Jackson thing that I'm thinking about, I saw it in like 1989 or so. It was my first time ever seeing Michael ever. I kept asking my dad if it was a man or a woman. He said it was a man, but I didn't believe him.

Captain EO was instantly forgetable as a minifilm but the 3D was really impressive. I thought we may have this technology in the home by now when i first saw it. But alas not.

Now that I've seen this plus the few pictures from Empire of Dreams when he was really young, I have concluded that he looks much better without the "soup catcher." He should definitely go for a clean-shaven look.

The polarized glasses system used for EO and several 80's films apparently won't work on video. However, several films you can only get in two dimensions on DVD were released in Japan letterboxed and 3-D on a Videodisc format most people have never even heard of. Alas, EO wasn't one of them.
