I really didn't like this year's schedule, honestly. I mean, it's one thing in a close division like the Atlantic, having the Rangers, Devils and Flyers playing each other every couple weeks, but in divisions like Detroit's, it's not as much fun to watch. I also didn't like that their weren't a whole lot of east-west games this year. Sure, it cuts down on travel time and that, but I would have liked to have seen Ottawa play Dallas, or the Flyers play Detroit more often.

t only that it changes the competitive balance of the schedules so much, detriot schedule is 10 times easyer then the ones for any of the northwest teams. vancouver and minisoda would have both made the playoffs if they were in teh central division.
