DTS and DVD Lab Pro

Hi everyone, I have yet another question.
I ripped a DVD to my hard drive that contains DTS and Dolby 2.0 audio. I have tried to make a new DVD by using DVD Lab Pro, but for some reason, it will not detect the DTS sound, only the 2.0 audio. According to the DVD Lab Pro help file, it does allow DTS. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why this isn't working? Thank you.

I can't give you the answer that you're looking for, but the people over at this board or this wiki might be able to lend a hand.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Hi everybody. You’re all awesome. Keep up the good work.

I've never tried to do DTS. I have nothing that will read it, either on my receiver (bought 10 years ago) or on my computer (as far as I know.) Hell, when I rip DVDs with DVDShrink, I think the DTS language option is always greyed out.

The mmbforums link the good Rev posted are your best bet. I always find a lot of good info there when I need help. Hell, I'll do some of the research myself, since I'm now intrigued by the question.

Thanks guys, it turns out that DVD Lab Pro will only detect the DTS file if I select the option to join first and then demux instead of the other way around (which was the recommended option, go figure). However, this didn't work all that well, so I ended up demuxing with VOBedit and making the dvd with IFOedit. Aside from some subtitle issues, I pretty much have the thing working.
