Star Wars DVD Covers — Page 92

Well, the black levels might look off on that preview, but I see no problems with the actual covers in that respect.

Good job, MS. These are pretty sharp covers. Darth Richard already mentioned that ANH and ROTJ say "STAR WARS EPISODE ..." in the credits, while ESB just says "STAR WARS THE EMPIRE...", but that's an easy fix. The only thing I'd change is the placement of "SPECIAL EDITION" inside the ESB logo. The SW and ROTJ ones look really classy, but it's hard to read on the ESB logo. Other than that, bang up job, MS!

EDIT: I also see Richard's point about the font size for the credits. Good job, though!

Sorry to be boring but, could you please avoid to quote the picture of the cover, each time you make a post? It's just that the page is becoming very long to load... thanks

Nope, their is someone around here that asks way more stupid questions (I ain't talking about me )
The way I get them on actual DVD cases is to print them out and put them behind the plastic 'layer' of your DVD case.

I was just curious because some of the posted images look like they're actually on the DVD boxes and not just inserts

Its just a way of displaying your flat cover images using a great piece of software called imandix cover to simulate what a finnished DVD cover looks like in a display case. Welcome PeculiarSatyr to the OT forums by the way

It also works for Swedish and Norwegian covers as well.

Sometimes I can sneak a joke in once in a while. But while we are on the subject of imandix, I've curious to see if anyone would be interested in a "Whats on your shelf?" thread. Half the fun of these preservation projects is showing them off. It might be interesting to see what people are housing their edits in. Or maybe I just have a desire to peer into everybody's living rooms.

Thank you for the welcome!

I'm actually in the process of updating my old Vintage Kenner-style collection. I haven't quite gotten the back layout nailed down yet, so excuse the misplaced elements there. Here's a preview. I still plan to add some hand-painted gradient effects to the white borders, some more images and text to the back. Not sure how I want to do the title logo yet on the front or the spine. Also, pay no mind to that blue shooting star, it's just a temp placement.

Yes, I'm fine with it. I make them so others can use them.

I used to be very active on this forum. I’m not really anymore. Sometimes, people still want to get in touch with me about something, and that is great! If that describes you, please email me at [my username]ATgmailDOTcom.

Does any have or know of a cover for the compilation DVD that has all the of the Star Wars parodies on it such as Tripping the Rift and Troops?
