Tying into your post, Gaff, but sticking with the hate, I hate the sneaking feeling that you've already met the right person, but let him/her slip away.......Ah well, let's go get a beer, shall we?

I used to have that feeling too, that I'd lost my chance at finding the perfect person. Until I realized that she wasn't the perfect person, and that the girl I've been with for the past three years is.

Not that that is going to stop you from dreaming… Only in this case, Gaffer is actually a guy.

Heh, but, yeah, you should get to know someone first before going out with them. But cheer up. You'll find the right person.

Im not very sad about it I felt kind of pressured to do it.

Yeah, it's a fleeting feeling. I'm just shitting with you.

Um, well, then, yeah... that one's no good for... you?

I don't know I felt too nervous around her. I like a girl that I can joke around with.

Being comfortable is always a key. It'd suck to be married to someone for half a century and still be too shy to talk to her. You could only talk to your seven kids that mysteriously appeared out of nowhere thirty years earlier...

I talk to this one girl every so often. I really like her, and she doesn't get mad when I make suggestions to her.

Except for the drugs.

And the girlfriend getting killed.

In fact, no, I don't wanna be the Sid Vicious of you guys's band.

I CAN PLAY GUITAR, BASS, KEYBOARDS, DRUMS, AND SING VOCALS. I'VE BEEN IN QUITE A FEW BANDS OVER THE YEARS. MY LAST BAND WAS IN METAL MANIACS MAGAZINE SEPTEMBER, 2001 ISSUE. I PLAYED THE DRUMS IN THAT BAND.

And Warbler: I don't know if that's the reason people say it (in some cases it may be), but personally I don't think Saddam was a coward; Bin Laden... constantly hiding--what a pussy. Saddam though, he was like a Hitler. I don't think either of them were cowards. Mostly because I think it takes A LOT of guts to stand up to *everyone* who opposes you; and they both happened to have a bite that equaled their bark.

I just can't see Bush becoming a dictator. (it makes me smile just imagining what it would be like to watch him try)

Well if you want to call him coward fine, but surely he is a murderer. If you want to call Bush a murderer too, like I said I am no Bush fan.

However, I thing I can argue the Sadam is a coward. Sadam = dictator, dictator=bully, bully=coward.

I applaud Warbler for constantly defending America's original values (which have become a little lost and muddied over the years).

I thankyou. I just so you know I too have question our policies somtimes. I would never say America is perfect.

Yeah this thread is about letting out our anger so we dont bottle it up and kill people.

I hate the fact that people always need to blame someone besides themselves. The boss, the teacher, God, the dog, the government, that jerk down the street. Not saying I'm not guilty of it, but some people seem to make it a life-long habit of making sure they are never responsible for their actions or the consequences.

I hate this guy Evan in my music history class who keeps talking every time the classical music starts playing. We actually had to "shush" him yesterday!

I hate it when my sister steals my cell phone charger.

I hate listening to my sister yack & laugh on the phone with one of her stupid friends (her room's right next to mine).

I hate it when my sister brings her friends home for a sleep over and they stay up till 4:00 AM in the morning yacking & laughing like idiots (there's no real dialogue or conversation, just a lot of cackling and the occasional "oh my Gawd!")

I hate it that they didn't end That 70s Show back in 2004 but chose instead to stretch it out for two more very painful and pointless seasons.

I hate the Superman costume for Superman Returns.

I hated pretty much all the comic relief scenes in Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.

I hate Rupert Grint.

I hate Robocop 3.

I hate it that they're making a Rocky 6 along with a Rambo 4.

I hate it that they're actually going to make Indiana Jones 4.

I hate King Arthur (2004).

I hate Catwoman (2004).

I hate Elektra (2004).

I hate Die Another Day.

I hate Madonna's cameo in Die Another Day.

I hate Madonna's song for Die Another day.

I hate it that in all animated versions of Superman from the Max Fleischer serials through Super-Friends, Ruby Spears Superman and the Bruce Timm Superman/Justice League series, Superman's eyes are not really eyes but merely black dots that resemble coal.

I hate the remake of The Thomas Crown Affair.

I hate seeing beautiful brunettes and red heads dye their hair ugly platinum blonde (Laura Prepon and Bryce Dallas Howard come to mind here).

I hate Tom Cruise.
I'd like a qui-gon jinn please with an Obi-Wan to go.

Red heads ROCK. Blondes do not rock. Nuff said.

So do I! Mostly due to his scientologist crap.

Is it me, or has Tom Cruise only played ONE character his own life? The good looking successful man who comes up with a bad situation in life and, besides being really pissed at it, overcomes the situation. He played that same "I can't belive this is happening to me!" character on:

Rain Man
The Firm
Jerry Maguire
Mission Impossible
Minority Report
War of the Worlds
“Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nazi Reich Marshal Hermann Goering

Yeah but I hate seeing a good show turn into crap.

Yeah, same character in pretty much all his films. And yes, he does need to cut back on all his scientologist crap. One minute he says you can be a Catholic & a Scientologist because Scientology "deals with the soul" and the next minute it's either all 100% hardcore Scientologist or nothing. What a jackasshole.

Did I mention that I hate indigestion?

I actually agree with the idea of Scientology (unfortunately its members are all weirdos).

I mean the placebo effect is a perfect example. I'm just not a Scientologist because I think they go about it the wrong way; it shouldn't be a religion, it should be a medical technique...

You agree with the idea that ancient alien spirits that are trapped inside are bodies are the cause of all our suffering? That's the idea of Scientology as I understand it

Some central beliefs of Scientology:

-A person is an immortal spiritual being (termed a thetan) who possesses a mind and a body.

-The thetan has lived through many past lives and will continue to live beyond the death of the body.

-A person is basically good, but becomes "aberrated" by moments of pain and unconsciousness in his life.

-What is true for you is what you have observed yourself. No beliefs should be forced as "true" on anyone. Thus, the tenets of Scientology are expected to be tested and seen to either be true or not by Scientology practitioners.

Wow, I guess I only heard the GOOD parts of Scientology.

Thank you for enlightening me!

BUT, I do agree with them that conquering your mind is like moving from driving an automatic car to driving a stick (ie. you can have more control over your body, like controlling pain)

Like this quote by Lao Tze: (Tse? Tsu? whichever it is...)

"He who can control others may be powerful, but he who has mastered himself is mightier still."

I agree that they should have had the respect to cancel That '70s Show before it got crappy. Why do you hate Rupert Grint? And how old is your annoying sister (just curious)?

I think a religion goes bad when it insults another like what Tom Cruise said about that one actress. And scientology is just very silly.

Yeah the majority of it is, a very very BIG majority.

And what about Tom Cruise insulting someone else's religion? I didn't hear about that. Sounds funny
