Question regarding sound sync issues

I have a DVD that was made with the sound out of sync by accident. Is there any way to use a tool like TMPGEnc to fix it? I don't know much about doing that sort of thing or if it's even possible.

You can demultiplex the vobs, load the files in dvd-lab and use "tool > audio delay" to sync the audio to the video. Dvd-lab will make a new audio file synced to you video. You can use the video file and the new audio file to rebuild the dvd (dvd-lab also allows negative delays).

EDIT: I hope the difference in sync is the same troughout the movie otherwise this won't work.

Thanks for the info. I downloaded DVD Lab and demuxed the audio out of the VOBs, but apparently the audio delay function doesn't work with DTS tracks. I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or not, but it is perplexing.

Wow, I don't know if DVDLab will work with DTS period. Bummer.

DVD-lab accepts DTS tracks, but the audio delay function doesn't work with DTS tracks
I have to ask, what dvd has it's DTS track out of sync???

EDIT: Do you know the exact audio delay?
