Okay, well from the best I know, avisynth helps to make a fake avi file that allows Premiere or any other avi reading program to read video off a ripped vob file, which doesn't lose you quality. And just use premiere's dvd burning function so you don't have to export and lose any more quality (unless you want a dvd menu and are going to use a dvd authoring program).

So you download --like--here's a guide, but don't download anything from the guide, because it's all outdated, just make sure the get the latest from all those it tells you to download, and once you get it working and figure it all out you can start using filters and all that.
