I am living proof that violent video games do nothing to a healthy mind. I frequently play the likes of GTA:VC, Counterstrike, Virtua Cop 1 & 2, Street Fighter Alpha 2, etc., etc. And the only person I've ever had a punch-up with in my entire life is my younger brother. That's it.

Of course, I do think that a lot of games are getting ridiculous. Never liked Mortal Kombat or it's 50-gazillion variations. That 50 Cent game looks like a steaming pile of gangsta crap. I wouldn't find it hard to believe that there probably are kids out there who can't separate fact from fiction...

The thing is, conflict is the key to any good story or videogame (with a few obvious exceptions, like maybe Tetris), so chances are, there's gonna be fighting in some capacity.
