Crash
There were both widescreen and fullscreen single-disc editions that came out last year, and a 2-disc Director's Cut Edition that just came out recently. For those of you that dislike Director's Cuts, keep in mind that there are only four minutes of extra footage. Yes, you read correctly. 4 minutes extra is apparently enough to qualify a movie as a director's cut these days. It's still got plenty of extra goodies.
I've only seen the 1-disc widescreen version myself, and it was lacking in the extras department. If you already own it, then there's no point in buying the new set unless you absolutely HAVE to have every extra.
My advice: rent the 1-disc version, and if you really like the movie, then buy the 2-disc.
Good Night, and Good Luck
This one, like Crash, is rather lacking in the Extras department. I have a feeling that there will be a better set released later as well, but don't quote me on that; just a hunch. I enjoyed this movie, but I would say the same thing aabout it that DAYV said about Memoirs of a Geisha: For me, it was one of those movies that I'd watch once and then it would sit on my shelf for the rest of eternity.
My verdict: Rental
How was that? Good?
