I'm paying £605 ($1058) a month for a nice 1 bedroom apartment with bathroom, kitchen and living room. But my landlords are a nice elderly couple who don't rip people off, so the same apartment would normally cost much more. When I tell my friends how much my rent is they are very jealous. Bear in mind that I earn about £1200 (after tax) a month, half my salary goes on rent. Abd that is before bills, and the gayest of gay taxes, the council tax (which pays for the garbage man, etc, and costs over £100 a month on top of my rent and MUST be paid by law).

But the short answer is £605 ($1058) per month.
