Yes- in my opening, the camera pans DOWN to the planet, not up. Rebel11_38 made this possible when he programmed the crawl last August.

And yes, the cockpit scene and all of the rest from Dune will be anamorphic 2:35:1 like the rest of the film. I don’t know why my capture was 4:3, because Dune was originally in 16x9 anyway.

Thanks for that page, Mask! I actually have copies of the dramas (uncompressed), but I’ll bet that’s a great resource for a lot of people.

And who’s to say they didn’t have horses on Geonosis? Just kidding- I’ll look into that
