I did read IC: Secret Files and enjoyed it as well. Its nice to have some gaps filled in regarding the mental turns that Superboy, Earth2 Superman and Lois, and Alex Luthor went through to get them to the point that they're at in IC. I still don't agree with *all* the editorial decisions made but we'll see how it comes to a head in the next two issues of IC.
I'm reading '1602' now and am at issue 6 (of 8). Its been very good so far but I will say that its probably one of the weaker of Gaiman's works (yet a weak work from Gaiman is still a strong work!). I think the problem is probably, again, editorial control from Marvel. So far it doesn't smack me as a Gaiman 'inspired' project but more something that Marvel dreamed up and looked for a writer to bring it to life.
I just bought the first TPB of the series 'Godland' and really look forward to reading it. I've heard good things about it and if you're a fan of Jack Kirby and his trippy 60s/70s comic creations I think it'd be worth reading. Just glancing though it and looking at the art brings a grin to my face.
