Or is it all different? Were the ratings given by comparison of the edits? Bad idea, since no one has all the entries present and a vote should be made as long as the memory is fresh. Or was everyone free to rate as they liked? As for the Bizzle this must be true. Example? OK: Hannibal by ADM, score 88. Now let's see: 100% audio is impossible since the deleted scenes had no dolby surround (at least not on my DVD), so it is not 5.1 surround all the time, let's say it is great audio 95%. Video: has been tweaked with, the deleted scenes still look worse than the original ones, 100% impossible, let's say a great 90%. Extras: what do we have here? An animated menu and chapters menu. That's it. Sorry, but that is no Extra at all. 0% (but since the menu is cool, let's say 20%) Edit: you made a nice post, PD,
Edit (innovation, editing style, etc):
. Making an extended edition is not innovative, but ADM's editing style is superb and flawless (although the deleted scenes make this one easy, since they fit exactly into the movie (except for the dungeon scene). So, for edit this one can get max. 60%. Now the final result: (95+90+20+60+60)/5=65. That is very far from 88 and I was generous, wasn't I?So I think the entire rating system should be reworked next time, since the judges just gave ratings to their likings and were not bound to anything at all.
Does anyone want me to do a fair rating for dezionized and de-assified and pearl harbor? I would love to.
