I've recently got into the EU and I've been enjoying it. I like how it adds so much to each character and explains things that the movies leave open, especially the PT. I've been reading the NJO and I love that story. Sure, for a SW's movie, it would be too dark and hostile but the story itself is fantastic.

I see your point that the EU doesn't have the same feel as the movies but we all agree that the PT doesn't have the same feel as the OT.
