Nah, China is like the Giant Panda that *could* rip every other animals' arms out of their sockets, but instead chooses to sleep on its furry ass for thousands of years.

Seriously, they have been sitting on world-conquering potential for millenia. Gunpowder for one. Oh, and then there's the billions of people, who, if in a concerted effort all got up on a table and jumped on the ground at the same time, could create the world's largest earthquake.
