Yeah, I can see the frustration and embarrassment one might have from seeing a book, comic book or graphic novel you worked hard on being turned into a pile of garbage on the silver screen. Of course, everything's a gamble in Hollywood. That which looks great in a screenplay sometimes just doesn't work well when you try to turn them into flesh and blood imagery, or CGI imagery for that matter.
