Dvd is just great....and as great at Hd-Dvd/ Blu-Ray will be....its too damn early and these things are gonna flop right out of the gate. It'll take a while for them to gain popularity.
Remember, most people dont even own HD Tv's...making this new jump pretty much useless.
As far as backing up files and such on computers...hell, i think these are great...but for the home theater....its pointless at this current time.
