I was halfway through typing this post when I had an epiphany. I hear people talking about changes they want made to these movies and things like that, and I realized that Star Wars is the only movies that anyone does this with. You don't have people starting threads that say "Things I want changed/added for the 30th Anniversary Edition of The Godfather". But why Star Wars? They aren't Wikipedia articles that anyone can just go in and edit. They aren't gobs of Play-doh that can be grabbed and remolded whenever the sculptor wants. They're MOVIES. Movies that a few guys put together so that other people can watch. Did Michelangelo go back and change his statue of David because he heard people saying "I think this should be changed"?
Do you see the point I'm trying to make? They're just movies: deal with them the way they are.
